March Favorites

So I’m thinking that I will start a new monthly post section of my blog. I will post every month my favorite makeup, beauty, fashion, etc items from the month before. I know that I am little bit late for the month of March, but better late than never! I decided to start the March Favorites with just my favorite makeup items, just to see if this idea is going to be a hit or not 😛 If you guys like it I will do more categories for favorites!

I numbered all the products in the picture for you guys so that it’s easier to follow.

1.CoverGirl & Olay Simply Ageless Concealer in light/medium

I LOVE this concealer. The package labels it as an under eye concealer, but I use it as a general face concealer before I put on my foundation. It works amazingly. This is my go-to concealer.

2. Benefit High Beam

This is the most amazing highlighter ever. All you need is a couple of dots on your cheek and brow bones and it creates such a luminescent glow.

3. L’OREAL PARIS Studio Secrets Magic Perfecting Base

This is probably the best foundation base/primer I have used. I use the Smashbox Photo Finish Foundation Primer and this blows it out of the water. It keeps your foundation on all day long and keep it looking freshly applied. Love it! And it’s sooo much more affordable than the Smashbox primer.

4. MAC Amber Glow Mineralize Blush

This blush acts like a highlighter more than a blush. I like it because it adds a pretty glow to your makeup. The price is a little steep, but it’s worth it.

5. NARS Orgasm Blush.

I’ve had this blush for a while but just recently started using it pretty frequently during my makeup routine. It’s a gorgeous peachy pink color with a teeny bit of shimmer. Perfect for summer!

6. Revlon Colorburst Lipgloss in Bronze Shimmer

I love this color. It’s a pretty nude shimmery lip gloss. Perfect to layer over a nude or pink toned lipstick or even wear by itself. It isn’t sticky at all and doesn’t make your lips dry either.

7. MAC Please Me Lipstick

I love MAC cosmetics, they are a little pricey but the quality of all their products makes it worth the price. Their lipsticks are my favorite purchases. They go on smooth and the colors are vibrant and are true to the color in the tube. Please Me is a brighter pink matte color. I’ve been wearing it pretty often and I love how it looks. If you’re not into brighter lip colors, this isn’t the lipstick for you though.

8. Maybelline Master Drama Eyeliner

Maybelline is my favorite drugstore makeup brand. The quality in the products is amazing, I especially love their eye makeup. This eyeliner is perfect. It goes on smooth, lasts all day, and is intense. It comes in a variety of different colors but I love the black liner.

9. Too Faced Shadow Insurance

I am sure everyone has heard of this product. It’s an eye makeup primer. It keep your makeup on all day and prevents creases. I really like this product. I’ve used many other primers but I always come back to this one. It does what it says it does and that’s what matters!

10. Maybelline The Rocket Volume Express Mascara

Like I mentioned in #8, I love Maybelline eye makeup. I probably own all their mascaras (shh, don’t judge me). They don’t clump or wear off and it makes your lashes look amazing. This was a newer mascara I believe, and like all their other products I was not disappointed!

11. Maybelline Color Tattoo 24HR Eyeshadow in Barely Branded

I told you I loved Maybelline! I LOVE their Color Tattoo eyeshadow line. They are quick and easy to throw on if you don’t have a lot of time to do your makeup. And even if you want to spend time on your makeup, this is an amazing eyeshadow line. They last ALL DAY LONG. I own most of the Color Tattoo line…that’s how much I love it. They’re awesome. They have all kinds of colors, which some I use as eyeliners (such as the teal and purples). Barely Branded is a really light tan/beige color that looks great with any look you want to do. It creates a nice neutral eye so that you can play with the rest of your makeup. I would highly recommend this line to anyone who wants a quick and easy eye makeup application!
